Description

I observed the Pinwheel Galaxy for 4 nights as follow and summed the 4 images:
       1. 2022 Apr 27    G100 + 300 sec x 35 = 175 min
       2. 2022 May 27   G100 + 120 sec x 36 =   72 min
       3. 2022 Jun 17     G100 + 180 sec x 40 = 120 min
       4. 2023 Aug 7      G100 + 240 sec x 30 = 120 min    ---  not best condition to observe the galaxy (thin clouds)

While I was working on these 4 images, I have learned that a new Supernova (SN 2023ixf) was discovered in a spiral arm of the Pinwheel Galaxy on May 19, 2023. I compared my 2023 Aug 7 image with one of the last year images.
